Haven't tried one yet, though I did say last night I ought to.
How far off your 'normal' handicap would 286 be, if you don't mind my asking? And is it an indicator of how 'different' shooting at a different face is?

Cheers

Terry

Hi Marcus,
its an indoor round - 5 dozen at 20 yds shot in ends of 5 at a 'special' 16 inch face, i.e white centre and four concentric black bands divided by white lines.
I'm not sure but someone will know, do they use a similar face in field?

I would like to say recurve or even longbow. But it was compound, first time with it, I find it easier to centre on the White, it just fits the scope a treat. Getting the X ring in a "Gold" I think is harder as there seems to be so much of it.

You learn something new every day - at least at AIUK you do! I didn't know about the change of face as I've never seen more than one archer shooting a Worcester (at the club) and they have always used a single face. It adds a bit more to it though, maybe I'll suggest shooting in pairs

First thing I thought of when it was mentioned, being more than capable of that kind of thing myself!
