Not archery related but
I have just been informed that I have shot well enough in the winter league field target air rifle competitions I have been attending, to leap into the AA marksmanship grade, the GMB equivalent in target air rifle shooting in my 1st season with proper target kit, now that's in the bag I can get on with some serious archery practice

thank you all for your kind responses. Yes. I was well chuffed seemed to upset some of the old hands at my club though (miserable buggers), stever I feel I'll get at least MB scores in my archery this season though I may not get to attend the necessary record status events to qualify for the classification proper.

Never mind the bloody air rifle, how are you doing with the Matrix? We need some good recurves for the county shoots. Get your priorities right and put the pellet popper away and concentrate on proper shooting!!

Well I gave myself a good talking too last night, I was getting distressed putting the odd 8 in shooting an 18m FITA, then I thought you're only shooting twice a fortnight be a bit realistic 8's will happen, especially with just a preliminary bow set up. I will be outdoors at the club next week while on 3-11 shift, I like a bit of distance between myself and the target when setting things up. Final pellet popping winter league shoot next w/e.
