Been a good 1st year...

This is my first year of shooting - and I love it.
If you could love it too much - that would be me

Anyway we had our delayed Open day shoot where the remainder of the medals and trophies of the last year were handed out...

Much to my wifes glee (and my defense in getting her to dirve me to the range all those times - still learning to drive) I did pretty well


And since its not likely to be matched by me in years to come I thought I would pop it on here for posterity.


This year I have been awarded:
Silver sixpense on blue ribbon - 6 gold end at 60yrds
Bronze Medal - 3rd class classification
Silver Medal - 2nd class classification
Platinum Medal - 1st class classification
GNAS handicap reduction trophy - 26 points off handicap
Indoor winter league trophy - overall winner

Got a longbow as well now - and since I am lucky to even hit the target (but love the challenge) I think that its for medals this year hahaha

Similar sort of year for me, except I sorta skipped the 3rd class scores, looking for MB this year after acheiving 28 handicap last year.

The missus won the most improved handicap award as she started way higher than I.

Got medals all over the house (hers mainley and a couple of mine).

Praying for good form and still weather in my hunt for MB handicap rounds(I won't get an actual MB as i haven't entered any record status events)
