As always a great shoot and the cakes were great.
Great weather, except for the downpour to get all the gear wet before packing up.
I believe congrats are in order for you and Annak also pleased with my second place in the York as only the 3rd time I have shot the FiberBow and have yet to properly tune it in.

Also cheers to Huffy the working party were like clockwork and not a rugby ball strayed our way

It was a pleasure and I would like to say thanks to all the archers that supported the shoot, and do not forget the SCAS junior FITA star is taking place on the same ground (July19th)

Best wishes, Mark

Smile Lovely first outdoor target competition

It was my first outdoor target competition. The only competition I'd done outdoors before was the Clout at Woodford a fortnight ago before, so this was my first at targets that were standing up. I was impressed by the directions when I arrived to the correct parking area and the organisation was up to that standard all day apart from the weather they'd arranged, and even that wasn't too bad because I was shooting a Western and they saved the worst rain until after we'd finished and packed up.

Shooting was fine, just like the indoor competitions but a bit further to walk which probably explains why we only had to do so after each half-dozen arrows.

A bit of a gap afterwards while waiting for the results. I suspect that's when most of the was sold; certainly the I bought was . However, it was worth waiting because I did win a raffle prize.

Many thanks for an organisation that's given me a good impression of outdoor competitions; I think I'll have to do it again.

(I did think when I met them that the group from the newly-reformed Essex Uni club might have caused a problem with directions when they arrived because they were wearing Essex Uni RFC jackets, but that couldn't be CADAC's problem!)
