Our little company

I have been invited here by our very own Click from another web site that I frequent quite often. She says "come on over! We'd like to see what you've made for us over here too!".

So, without further adieu, here's a little piece of my background, and the company that my daughter and I have started

I’ve been hanging around archery web sites for about the last 10 years or more, soaking in knowledge like a sponge, and sharing that knowledge whenever possible with the other people that love our sport as much as me. I got my start when I was just a young’n, and haven’t lost interest yet!

I got my daughter started at the age of 5, and she took off like a rocket! She has since captured several state records, National titles and even world records shooting compound with fingers. To make a longer story shorter, she had been working toward the goal of shooting an Olympic style recurve, and a nationally known coach said it was time, so off she went. 3 months after starting, her first tournament score was within 5 points of the national record for her class.

Now, money is always tight when you get serious about training in this game, and I’m no exception. In my quest to help her in any way possible, and the need for a proper sling, we created Sling-it together! We build what I think is the best (and possibly the most stylish) wrist sling made today without question! ( I always hated getting my fingers yanked out of joint with finger slings ) Now mind you I’m not a manufacturer. My intention is to enjoy the site here, add my advice, and maybe help my daughter out if we can sell some slings. All of the proceeds from Sling-it go to helping my daughter along in her quest for the Olympics one day. I hope you can see the importance of this little venture to us.

I hope I’m not over stepping my bounds here, but I’ll post a photo of our slings for you to see. The colors, from top, are Hot pink, Gray, Neon Green, Purple, Dark blue, Black, Red, and Electric blue. We’ve also added Neon Yellow, and White. (not in pic). My email is enabled here, so drop me a line if you like what we have come up with.

Good shooting to all, and I look forward to spending some time over here with you folks!

I am interested in your slings as I have been shooting with the same type of item for the last 15 years and it may be time for a change!

There are a couple of vital bits of information missing though, cost. How much do you charge per sling and how much is shipping to the UK?

Any chance of a pic of the Neon Yellow?

Alex.

Thank you all! I've been trying to post an action pic I have on another board, but it keeps coming up as a link, not a pic. I'll try to get it so I can post it here for you folks to see.

Alex, I'll pm you with the info, but shipping is real reasonable coming across the pond ($12.00 US........translation please?)

As for the yellow, I'll try to get a new pic for you within the next few days. Sitting here, I could swear the neon yellow highlighter pen lying on my desk is identical though. I can tell you, it's BRIGHT.

edit: just stopped by the post office and confirmed the shipping

Click is a big help!

Here is your action pic. This is just after the arrow is released, and about half way through the followthrough. I hope it helps.
