Wales Archery Services in Crick also trades in second-hand bows, and they are certainly a quality vendor.

It would help us to with the second hand retailer question if you would fill in your Bio with some thing. It's no good me telling you to go to Clickers in Norwich if you live in Devon.

A shoot through system is where you have no cable guard and split cables.
Martin did the best system with the fury x.
You dont see the split cable system used much as there is too much cable involved and makes for a "sloppy" set up.
Most dealers wont take part exchange as there is no money in it.
You are better off on e-bay (get your draw length measured first).
Martin bows are not well served over here.
Quicks--zero, KG --- antiques, Wales ---forget it,Centre Shot will order you a bow but you seem to be commited to buying it.
Try buying a Sceptre 4 and you will see what I mean.
Most of the dealers in the UK dont stock much,so get your draw length sorted and order a bow from the US or get it from e-bay.

I was at Centre Shot very recently and the seemed to have a nice selection of Martins in stock. Certainly worth giving them a call to see what they have.

Yeah, web page is a little out of date. Shop is good though, nice selection of bows, new and second hand, and everything else an archer could need.

Not necessarily!

Norwich isn't so far as it seems. My wife likes to shop in Kings Lynn and we always pop down the A47 to Norwich from there. The round trip is only around 260 miles.

As someone who's been shooting the Alt eXact for six years, I've found it to be a good bow, however, as Alt Services don't have a store you need to know your drawlength/poundage/etc before you order. It also makes it quite hard to try before you buy, but if you email* they may let you, they let me try.

* - it's Altservices, dont try to phone
