| I don't have much care for the Trykon. I'm sure it would shoot well, and the parralell limb design is a smart move for Hoyt. I would not buy one however. I found with the Protec that the Hoyt risers are just too weighted to the right and that their best bow was the UltraElite riser which helps fix this. If I was going to shoot a Hoyt now it would be a 2004-2005 UltraElite XT3000 Spiral, just as I shot in 04. The new riser designs don't appeal to me at all. I would certainly go the Trykon over the Trykon XL however. Nothing wrong with 33" AtoA for target use.

| i just a shame that they havent updated the riser of the constitution like they did on the other risers !! the constitution has wel the new adjustable cam's i think ! |
| |||||
| Yeah it's the new cam. If your draw allows it consider the Old Glory. Much faster and the riser is alot nicer. IMHO.

| Have you considered the Allegiance? Both myself and my wife use them and love them. She used a Ultratec XT3000 at the Worlds but changed afterwards. She went to an Old Glory and liked it, but Bowtech also sent her an Allegiance, and she adores that one enough she ordered 2 more. I also had a UltraElite XT3000 last year (04) and am using the Allegiance now and have beaten almost all my personal best scores with it. In fact shot 4 PB's in the first 2 weeks with it (so it wasn't just form) The nice thing with the shorter bows is that they feel nicer. With much less string they have a great crispness to them. The shorter axle length doesn't cost you 'stabiliity' or 'forgiveness' or other non-measurable things people make up. It's a tough leap to make, but once you actually shoot a 33-34" bow and don't stress about touching your nose to the string you find them very very accurate and enjoyable to shoot. BTW we also have a guy at our club who rarely drops points indoor and he shoots a AR34 with a 29.5" draw length. Also Chris White shot 1423 in practise with his 33" Switchback.
