I have considered it but can't afford the cost of a new bow and new arrows too. Maybe next season, depending on how well I do in 2006. I would have thought the bow you have is pretty good anyway, I can't see a change will make any difference to how you shoot. I know a few archers with the bow you have who can shoot into the 1300's no problem.

regards,

Rich

Not planning on changing the bow. I'm just going to wind up the poundage back to 40lb - at the minute they're wound out to 35lb while I changed back to recurve and i'm not changing it in the middle of a <moderately> successful season.

Arrow wise? Don't know. Doubt it, but only have 7 ACC's so possibly some more carbons.

I have had some TXG limbs for about 3 years, Border changed the logo from Talisman to Border Gold. The next generation are still in the development stage, they may be ready spring next year.

I ordered a 2006 Bowtech Allegiance but will most likely keep my 2005 Allegiance for a while longer and use the 2006 one to fill back orders.
I usually don't get attached to bows, but I am seriously considering not selling this Bowtech, it's freaking awesome.
However being an Equipment WhoreTM I know that as soon as the opportunity arrises I most likely will upgrade. (might borrow one of my wife's 2 new Allegiances for a lttle bit to try out)

Wim, those are 2 excellent bows and much better than the Ultratec. (better cams) Just got an Apex 7 in yesterday and it's a gorgeous bow. It would be my pick of those 2.
