Arrow Rest's

As my Trap Door fall away rest seems to be heading for its death rattle, could any one suggest an alternative thats as quick and simple to set up.

If you are after another fall away rest then I highly rate the Golden Key TKO. I dont think its made any more but there are still a few around to be bought. If you just want a new rest then Trophy Taker Steel Spring 1 or 2. So simple to setup and once done it doesnt move or go wrong (well not for me).

The Spigarelli top rest and Super rest can be used as drop away. Spot Hogg now makes the golden premier range.(I think)

If you like a fall away that is very easy to setup try the Limb Driver. It is fairly new and you will need to import it from Lancaster Archery or another US dealer but it is well worth it. Take a look on archery talk and see what everyone thinks there. We have 2 on test and they are excellent.

That doesnt look to bad and as its around £50 ($1 = to £2ish) not over expensive either for a piece of kit that only just ended its test phase.

My wife uses the FreeFall kinetic as her standard rest but is testing a few others. I have a Limb Driver on my bow (38 ultra) for continuous use to see how it stands up to rain and general abuse. Wendy has been using one on her No2 Bow - UltraElite to compare groupings against the FreeFall and a Spot Hogg Infinity.

The only thing I found was that the connecting string stretches during the first 30 or so arrows before settling in, after that it is fine.

I have found my grouping better with the limb driver than the FreeFall, and you can get on the phone and speak to the guy who designed it if you have a problem.
