Question Best Budget Compound sight?

I'm in need of some advice, I'm about to get a Bowtech Old Glory compound, but I'm a bit limited on cash for the sight. I need advice for the best cheap compound sight, it doesn't have to last for ever because as more cash is saved I will probably upgrade it.

I was looking at either the Petron G2 click sight at around £35 or the Toxonics 1400 at £40. I have to say I'm edging towards the Tox as my wife has a Petron recurve sight and it's not the best made sight I've ever seen, but at under £50 for a compound sight I'm not expecting anything amazing.

So feel free to offer your advice!

Thanks in advance.

The G2 is an ok sight. It usually works fine, but just dont expect too much from it. I know a few people who either use it and like it or have used it and hate it.

The 1400 is basic, but better than the G2.

I would go for the 1400.

Try the Davis Sight.
Its made in the US by Brian Davis.
I have shot one for several years and it has NEVER come loose or fallen to bits.
They retail for around $180 thats about £90.
Thats more than you wanted to spend but take it from me you will not be sorry.
The only down side is that it is a bit heavy.
Put a search in for Davis Bow Sights to get all the info.

i've got the toxonics and i'm very pleased with it. it works well and is nice and robust. the ajustments are moderatly easy. not microfine ajustments but then again, my shooting isn't accurate enough yet to need it.
