Talk to Tony Drabble at Custom Built Archery or Lez (chief Aardvark). I am sure they will be able to advise.

Thanks Geoff I had my Bow from Custom Built Achery and i know they keep the bowtech Cables and String in because i asked them when i bought it but they said they have only the grey and black one in from bowtech , mine is a red and black, I dont mind a differant colour but just wondered if there was a better make of string instead of the factory one

You could do a lot worse than buy a set from Wayne Newberry. His business is in the US but they mail products everywhere. I've got a set of Ultracam strings/cables on an Ultratech and they are superb: well built and served, zero creep or stretch, and no peep rotation. He'll make them with 452X if you prefer. And they are among the cheaperst out there.

His web address is:

http://home.ntelos.net/~nberry4/BerryStrings/index.htm

You can also buy them here in the UK from Centreshot Archery (Bob French) if this makes you feel more comfortable.

Adam

Winners Choice.
I use the 452x ones on my Allegiance and after 6 months they are still perfect and have not budged. I make a nice string, but these things are really better than anything I could make.
The X-Coat alone is worth it.
Spend the extra, buy Wnners Choice, you won't regret it

Here is mine, Red/Blue string, one red cable and one blue cable

And here is an old glory with the same concept but with orange and black

And my wife's purple/pink combo

Thanks Marcus i will have a look at that site as my daughter lives in Perth OZ and she could send for a set then send them to me.
Are the sizes spot on for the Allegiance only i know people who have sent for cables and strings and been an inch or so short or long when they came.
John

'Scuse I for butting in John and Marcus, but you need to state tour draw length of your bow as thes are draw length specific.

Thanks Bald Eagle MY cam is e7 which i think is 27" the markings on my bow limbs are
STR 56.3/16 CBL38. 1/8 But that is before i had differant cams on that marking on the limbs was for 28" cams so i dont know if it will be the same with 27"
What does your marking state on your limb and what ie your cams no

Hi John,
My cams are E6 and my draw length is 27" Apparently, if you get re-cabled in Winners Choice it will cost about £60!! Might be cheaper to get them from Oz!
