how do I change cam timing?

I recently had some new strings fitted and I have noticed that at rest, the string on my bottom cam does not lie within the two marks, which I think means the cam timing is out. The top cam is fine (see pictures below).

How do I change the cam timing, is it a matter of altering the cable lengths? Is it possible to get away by twisting/untwisting? If i get the bottom one right won't the top one then be out?

Any help ppreciated.

Picture showing top cam, note top has three lines and cable is roughly in middle.

Picture showing bottom cam, note cable outside two lines.

Yes, you need to put the bow in a press and twist or untwist the cables. You will find that even 1/2 a twist will make a difference. Also, you may get the cams perfect, then find they go out later, as the new twists settle in. So be prepared, it might take a couple of attempts to get it perfect and stay there.

To save me messing around any more than I need to. Am I right in assuming its the power and control cables I need to mess with rather than the main one whjich holds the arrow?

Yes, you need to adjust the inner cables, not the string. Adjusting the string will affect the draw length, brace height and the peak weight, not the cam timing.

I trust you have a bow press ? to play with the cables etc. without a proper one can be dangerous, due to the amount of pre-stress in the limbs.
