| confirmation, how is compound draw length measured. I would just like to get confirmation on how draw length is measured on a compound. I have always taken it as from the knock point at full draw to a point which sits 1.75" in front of the most forward point of the grip (ie where the fleshy bit between the index finger and the thumb sits). On many bows this appears to get quite close the the front edge. Are my assumptions correct?

| Sounds Right But I have been led to believe different manufacturers can measure and therefore quote draw length in different ways.

| AMO/ATA - a bow's draw length setting can be found by measuring the distance between the groove of the nock - to a position 1 3/4" forward from the pivot point of the grip - when the bow is at full draw.
