| Bow left or right handedness? Is it possible to shoot a right handed bow, left handed? I ask as being left handed my choice of right handed bows is limited, especially on the used market. Obviously most of the Hoyt bows will be no good as they have the Tech riser getting in the way, however, all of the Matthews, PSE, Bowtech type risers seem the same both ways round, and the grip is quite simple on a compound. So can they be universal? I know the scope will be on the other side I am used to, but is there any other difference? Last edited by rgsphoto; 01-02-06 at 03:58 PM. |

I would shoot right hand but my right eye has an a astigmatism that prevents this, ie I can't see to well out of it. |

| There's a photo somewhere of a top European female compound archer shooting right handed but aiming with her left eye. If I find it I'll let you know. |

| About shooting right handed compound left handed. Cables will be problem, you canīt have bow in your hand that cables wonīt touch your hand. So, shoot left handed and buy left handed bow. Or learn to shoot right handed, donīt do anything else. |
