Nock Tuning

I have been reading about nock tuning for recurve shooters and the benefits that it can give you for tighter grouping,

As l understand it this is because of the shaft making contact with the button and the spine of the shaft being different around the outside walls
but if you shoot a compound and use a launcher is there any benifit to tuning the nocks???
l am going to re flight a set of arrows but is there any point in going through the process??

Cool

I have spoken to some coaches and compound archers who are coaches, they believe that nock tuning is worth doing. For the sake of an hour and a small face it must be worth the try.
let us no how you get on
Nick

I don't do a nock tuning session specifically, but while I am shooting if I get an arrow that is not grouping so well I give it a turn, suppose it is similar, if you keep all your fletchings the same colour it helps.
