Cam 1/2+ Draw stops

Does anyone know the allen key or similar that is used to tighten the screw in the draw length adjustment of the cam 1/2+ system? I noticed today that mine had worked loose but none of the allen keys I had (neither metric nor imperial) would fit.

Also, is it ok to threadlock these to prevent them working loose again?

Thanks.

haven't got a clue what size allen key you need but if you are going to use a threadlocker make sure you get the one that can be undone using hand tools, IIRC Loctite green.

I generally use the blue Loctite. Never had a problem undoing it before. The screw looks like it has a crosshead screwdriver type slot in the top.

On a Cam and a half they they are 7/64 and are standard Hex screws.

I'm just wondering if they've changed the system. It definately isn't a standard hex key (or apparently it isn't). The Hoyt manual doesn't even tell me what tools are needed.

What bow do you have? My 2007 ProElite uses a key that is on my (2002ish) Gorrilla-Grip imperial key set.

According to the Hoyt manual for the 2008 bows with cam and a half+ it is still a standard hex screw. Is it possible that your supplier lost a screw during setup and replaced it with a standard one?

It does appear to be according to the manual. I'll have a look at finding an even more comprehensive set of keys, but looking at the screw itself it could be a torx screw (although none of the normal ones fit), although that isn't too likely since its not normal practice for them.

As for it being changed, I don't think it could have been. I was with it from the time it was removed from the box until I took it out of the shop and the screw was not changed whilst I was there.
