I use a Titan Scope with a 1.0 (6x) lens and a tiny dot. I like it because it is smaller than the gold at 90m and allows me to bounce around the 10 ring indoors.

Although we never go round to trying it, RGS and I once got to talking about putting coloured filter over the scope to try and reduce target panic. I wondered if masking the actual colour of the gold with a coloured filter might trick a 'gold fevered' mind into settling on concentric circles of a different colour banding - or a monochrome range of colours. Crazy idea? well maybe.

ummm...maybe, maybe it would just mean you couldnt see anything and your PB would turn into a PLow ;o).

But Beiter do scope bodies in translucent colours, so it must have some impact on the light going through the body of the scope.
