Timing is not critical, it seriously doesn't make any difference. Tested it on my nock travel tester.
Also you can shoot these bows without the draw stop peg, but the wall is not very nice. (tried that too)
Have you tried shooting with a draw stop peg in each cam?

Yes. It was pointless.
I have tested the Allegience in a Hooter Shooter and I had to draw about 2" past the peg for the lack of a second peg to effect the impact on the target. It also didn't make the wall firmer so stopped bothering.
