Binary cam setting up

I will be making new strings for my 2007 Allegiance soon.
Before I get started, I would like to clarify in my own mind the way to set up the bow once the new strings are in place.
I am assuming that the cables should be exactly the same lengths as each other. If not, twisting will be required, after installation and settling, to give good timing at full draw.
At present, the draw is on maximum. If I move the stop any further, the cams roll too far and that is not recommended in the booklet that came with the bow.I would like to get another 1/8" draw, if possible, as currently the string just touches the front of my jaw. I would like to try the longer draw to see what happens. I can twist up the string to shorten it, afterwards if it is necessary.
I guess twisting up both cables would give a similar increase in draw length; but would that be a better method or not?
Does it sound as if I have the right ideas or have I forgotten something important? Thanks.

Geoff, make your string and cables and hang a bucket of water from them for a day or so! Regarding draw length, make your "D" loop a little longer or shorter to suit.

BE thanks for that. Was my thinking about right?
I understand what you are saying about the D-loop. What I am trying to do is bring the bow string further back towards my face so it rests a little more solidly. At present it is just about brushing against the front of my jaw.
With a slightly longer string it would touch more solidly, I feel. If it makes things worse, I can twist it up a little and have things as they were.

If you shorten your cables you lengthen your string, as long as you get the mods hitting together with the stop it will be ok

Thanks again, BE. I can get on with the string making now without having to worry about missing a vital detail. Cheers.

I put 10 extra turns in each cable and shortened the D-loop to compensate.
I feel a bit steadier on aim now and the string contact on the front of my chin is positive without being so deep as to cause clearance problems.
I feel that before the changes, I was probably leaning onto the string a little as now I feel more relaxed and upright.
Compared to standard string and cables, I could make a longer string or standard cables with more twists, or shorter cables.
The differences are not going to be great as measured by a tape measure; less than 5m.m. I guess. Does it really matter which option I choose, from a performance point of view? ( I don't mean speed, but overall performance)

I think as long as the cams are rolling over together and the mods are hitting in unison, you'll be ok.

You can twist up the cables to get extra draw length and it will work fine. I have my cables twisted up so I have 2 dots showing above the limb. Works well.
Timing is not critical, it seriously doesn't make any difference. Tested it on my nock travel tester.
Also you can shoot these bows without the draw stop peg, but the wall is not very nice. (tried that too)
