Which is money best spent on?

So bonus time is coming and the desire to spend money on archery goods is great

So if you only had £80 to spend and you want to make the max difference for bucks are you better off :

upgrading Petron scope to a Beiter one

or

upgrading Cartel longrod to a OK Better one or a Beiter longrod.

so what do you think?

Hate to say it, but once you have a decent bow, the priorities for further expenditure will be:

1. A gym membership
2. Arrows, arrows, arrows and arrow maintanence

in that order. That probably wasn't the answer you wanted though..

I would say Stabilizer, but try a few out before you settle on on.

I'd say stabiliser. I use a Petron scope at the moment (although I might get a Beiter for my B'day) and used to have a 30" Beiter longrod. Tried out a 37" Beiter and knew what to spend my money on - got a 41" Beiter last week and should hopefully get a chance to test it out this week, balances beautifully though.

Stabiliser..might make a difference to the feel of the bow and the shot...try before you buy.

Scope. As long as its solid there is not that much to choose between.

Putting it towards some coaching maybe, the one piece of the jig saw most of us overlook but can have the biggest effect and last for years to come.

Your right..... save up another 80 quid and buy a new set of Nav FMJs' or a bit more and a set Aces.

Incidently, when I first started with compound I used a Beiter long rod, I then tied a friends Doinker carbon elite. I was absolutely amazed at how much better I could hold on the gold, it also seems to make the bow more 'forgiving'. I still think the Beiter is great for recurve but now use a Doinker on the compound.
