Question Launcher for thin arrows?

Hello fellow compounders. Considering I will be shooting super thin X10's this season I was wondering about the launcher platform. I use a spoon type launcher that fits the X10 shaft perfectly, however the fletches are very close together due the small size of the shaft. What is the optimum shape of launcher for this type of shaft? As it is now I wonder if the back end of the shaft will kick the launcher too much...what happens to the back end of a compound arrow anyway, is it any where near the launcher will it's on it's way, does the nocking point influence launcher clearance?Any thoughts? Is it better to use a drop away rest?

I think if I'd had all the decision making you've had over the last couple of weeks I'd have bought a stick!

rgs I have never had a problem with a "thin metal launcher with a v cut out of the end" (if that description makes sense) and very thin arrows. I guess that provided your centre shot and nocking point are correct it won't be a problem.

Glad to see you've purchased your arrows. Perhaps your "launcher" thread can become as big an epic as your arrow one .

Can't go far wrong with a GK Premier or, better still, GK Infinity with a carbon arm. This will take the thinnest of thin shafts with no probs (it's what it was designed for, after all).

A mate of mine has one of these launchers, where on earth do you get the carbon arm from? it seems they are like hens teeth.

I'm feeling good about all this, I'm going into the summer season with confidence, the work and agonising is well worth it. To some people it may seem daft to get all complicated about archery, but to me it's important I get it right. It's just how I am. We are all on a learning curve here. Cheers have a

I use one of these style blades with my X10's and 2315

My wife uses an Infiniti with the Golden Glide arm. Just order an Infiniti Carbon and it comes with the bits.
