As for the point 6, I did round it as I figured you cant get point six of an arrow 3.14159267The important bit is that between us all, we got there in the end

| Just updated the file in the drop box. It now has juniors. It also has seperate tables for average per end and average per dozen. I also put a few boxes round things to make them a little easier on the eye. Must try and do some real work now FW | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I worked out similar for bowmen on a st george using realisitic figures from scores expected at those distances. i.e. 100yds I expect 12 points per dozen. Lol. I think it's fairly individual and you'd do better to see where you can eek some points from rather than use someone elses figures.

I think it is useful to make a comparison sometime at the way you compare to the expected at various distances. It can give you an indication on whether you have a particular weakness at any distance, or maybe whether you start strong, and drop later in a round. I know at times I have been guilty at shorter distances of feeling that I was not shooting as well as I should, and then letting that upset me so that I shot worse. When I looked back later I found it was my expectation that was wrong. I thought I should have been scoring higher, than I really could expect. That cost me points. Now I have a more realistic view it allows me stop beating myself up, and just concentrating on how the shot feels. I still tend to shoot higher than my handicap at 100 and 80, and srop at 60 yards. I now have to try and work out whether it is really 60 yards, or whether perhaps I just don't have the conditioning yet to maintain all the way through 12 dozen.

| According to your matrix I'd be expecting too much on 60yds. Apparently 35.8 is what I should be aiming for, however using my own data for how I perform at the distances I know I'd expect between 40 and 45 per end at 60yds. Similarly I'd expect at 80yds to hit 35 per dozen not 25 per end. The conversly my experiance last year shooting 100yds (1 dozen all misses but have increased poundage and not shooting x7s that far anymore.) I can only guess that 16 will be too much at the moment for me. I'll be happy for 7 per end! I do think there is some use to your tables and thank you for them but people should update for their own shooting and not worry and get caught up if there's one distance they're falling short on.

1. Go to page setup and print at 25%. Will reduce the page count a lot. 2. Copy the tables you want on to a seperate sheet, and print that sheet. (should only need one page). Glad you like them....can't resist a small programming challenge late at night! Must go and try shooting now...rain, rain go away!
