C2's on an older bow....

I've been trying to track down some spirals for my '05 ultraelite. During my search i've been offered some C2's that give the same DL on the newer UE's as i want on my older one. I know the bow has changed, so i have no idea if the C2's would even work with my bow, or if they're a viable alternative to the spirals....

any ideas?

Yeah they will. I put some C2's on a 2004 UltraElite and they worked great. Poundage was similar. Worth doing, better cam as well.

Thanks Marcus, that's just the info i needed.

2 more questions...

Did you go by the 07/08 tune charts to figure out what length string/ cables etc to fit on it, or did you just play with a few lengths till you found one that worked?

And what number cam did you have on the bow before, compared to the C2's you put on it? As my cam&1/2 is 26.5 to 29 and i'm wanting to put some C2's on to give me 26, and i've been told that it might knock the poundage down quite a bit....

Thanks again

I just used the tune charts and they worked. Also used the suggested cam.
You may lose a little poundage, but not much.
