| sighting strategies for wind What is the concensus on the best sighting strategies for wind? I have always adjusted my sight settings to allow for wind so that I still aim on centre. I came across someone recently who suggested it was best to leave sight as is without wind and aim off centre to compensate.

as it gets read so much. You can aim off or use the bubble, he recommends one over the other but I can't for the life of me remember which one he says is best.

| Jim's a fan of aiming off. I use to be a canter, untill one day at 90m I aimed off in the wind and scored a massive score. I could actually aim really still and the arrows dropped in. Since then I have gone to aiming off and now much prefer it.

| Canting and aiming-off both have one potential advantage in common over sight adjustmant in that the wind is never constant, so adjusting for windage is a problem unless you can time your release to match the gusts (unlikely around my way).

| No need to answer my last post. A member at our club gave a demo after setting arrows up for X's at 60M he canted the bow and shot a 3. Well amazing!
