| Yes ![]() They are becoming very popular at most of the competitions we go to. Just remember to try tuning them for your setup by moving the spacers (keep a record of where you started) try moving the front one first.

| Thats good to hear. Again I know it depends but how sensitive are the movements on the rod to change. Are we talking moving inches or mm's? Are the factory settings optimum? |

| totally love my triad longrod. some have issues in the wind with them but I haven't had any issues myself(no more than any other rod I've shot) The official Line is move the weights around until you find your optimum group. However my take on that is you'd have to me as good as wendy to notice the difference when moving the weights. Mine are where I set them evenly spaced.

| Thanks for that. I am quite relieved really because I wanted the active balance ones originally but he got me the triads instead. Sounds like i could be on to a winner. |

| mm to start with and shoot for groups and see what happens, its very much trial and error.

| Being a numpty, why problems in the wind? Is it because they are very light? I may try and source some extra weights for mine (any ideas?) but i'll see how I get on. I ordered 2 dampners (for long and side) last night from merlin as the triads dont come with them, should add a little more weight. |

| love my triad longrod definitely the best i have used ( but then again, the only other ones were a cartel longrod and an unbranded carbon one from the clubs cupboard )I'm just your average level club archer, but even i noticed the difference moving the tuners around. particularly with the Helix which is stable as a rock, it let me fiddle with the forward roll and balance of the bow, and the vibrations in the system without having to add too much more weight. With a 30" triad and 4 weights on a doinker on the end. its balanced as such that by moving the tuners, it will either roll forwards nicely, or if i move them all back sit more or less dead on the shot. moveable tuners are great ![]() tempted to get siderods too, but i like my cartel short ones cos they have flame wraps on them ![]()
