i switched from a thumb trigger release to bt release because of punching problems !!! if i ever go back to thumb trigger release it wil set with no travel and hard setting !!!

| No travel is a must. I have my trigger set so I can wrap my thumb around it comfortably. I know James Park has his set as light as he can get it. As for punching, well that's a will power thing.

i find with a carter release to set the travel correct you must load your release then turn the adjustscrew untill the release go's off its own then turn 1/2 turn the screw back !!!thats for me ideal !!!

My releases are all set with no travel and the lightest spring possible. Adam

These are tricky to punch. http://www.lancasterarchery.com/shop...ducts_id=6861I like it a lot, still experimenting, a firm/ hard pull setting seems best so far.
