Murray's post is up to the usual amazing Balbardie standard... the only thing I would add is if you are scoring, keep the running totals up to date also as you will have a slip of paper/card to fill in every dozen for the runners to collect & give to the scoreboard.

Dont think that there are any tournaments especially for virgins in my neck of the woods, wouldn't get many entrants even if there was. And how would you check? Adds a whole new meaning to the term 'kit inspection'.

Ah yes raffle tickets are very important, especially when they come in many colours. You Neeed lots, especially if you shoot at a Savile tournament...

comprehensive ..... if I can't manage to 'break my duck+1' using this little lot, then I need to examine my commitment.....thanks to all.

PB's not over of the 570 mark yet @ Portsmouth, but rarely dip's below 550 so i'll take a 'shot' ( no pun intended ) to see how I fair infront of someone else's targets.

As my PB is 505 and I regularly shoot less, just do it. The only person I am competing against is myself. I am certainly not there to win!

Free to have my 'kit' inspected at all times/hours... however, my Wife may have a problem with that
