Myself, Sten Nigol (see my world record thread) and former World #1 Peter Elzinga all shoot with arm guards.
If you have good shoulder alignment you often hit your arm. The Hit arm = bad technique is a misconception.
As for your grip, you need to relax your fingers, too tense like that. Also you need to rotate your wrist to bring your knuckles to 45degrees and take the bow force on the thumb side of your lifeline. |
The Bracer Bit was sort of a Joke, sorry English sense of humor, I usually have a guard on.
Thanks for the tip about 45 degree alignment will keep an eye on that, WRT fingers they are usually relaxed, I push them out straight after the draw then let them completely relax, I was probably concentrating on palm position for the photo (and not dry firing the bow)
