Tried and tested,or?

http://www.bladerunnerarchery.com/

Saw and shot this bow last sunday. Smooooooth, light, stable in the hand, accurate with pin sights and a whisker biscuit arrow rest. Available in red soon, does not need a longrod, etc Unproven design? Too many wheels and cams?
This could turn me away from my recurve. How do you choose a compound bow, stick with the leaders or follow your dreams? Everything is new at one point in time.

They are a trully awesome bow to shoot, they have one down at my local .
They aren't tried and tested, as no-one has been brave enough to shoot one at a competition yet as far as I know.
In theory they should wipe with floor with the competition.

The benefits advertised with the Bladerunner can be found on the Oneida range of bows. They have been around for over 20 years and are tried and tested. No doubt Jerry Tee will be saying something soon, if I am not mistaken. It looks like the sort of bow I would like to dismantle; just love mechanical things!

Sorry to be a killjoy, but stick with a tried and tested design at first. Let everyone else have the teething problems and uncertain resale value. Let he dealers go through the mill of trying to fix something that they have never seen before, with parts that might take weeks to arrive. If my Hoyt breaks, I take it into my local dealer who can fix just about any problem (or advise me of a better solution) and can re string it, and set it up almost while I wait. Safety in numbers everytime.

Hi Rich, Yes, I could put it all back together again; apart from the obligatory washers. They need to be left off to save weight and time.
