Berry Strings

For those of you still using manufacturers stock strings I thought I'd 'big up' Berry Strings. They can be found at

http://home.ntelos.net/~nberry4/BerryStrings/index.htm

Wayne Berry was recommended to me and I can say that he makes excellent strings. The string material is pre stretched prior to making so there is no creep after you start to use it. Colour choice is yours, but if asked Wayne will make suggestions. You can choose starnd number, serving type etc. Everything is an option.

I would estimate you will wait about 1 month from placing an order to receiving the strings though Wayne will advise you and can rush orders where strictly required.

With your strings you will receive a print out telling you the string material, strands, serving and all the colours.

I went for red, blue and silver

This is what I got

Everything packaged well with instructions. A view of the strings

Out of the pack the strings were found like this. All had been pre twisted and then tied together so they don't unravell

What really impressed me was the small touch of including some colour co ordinating D loop material and serving fo tieing in your peep

So how does it look? Like this

And the detail

Go on treat your bow........

When I had a compound, I bought a set of Berry Strings and must say they were top class. Adam also uses Berry Strings (when he's not busily breaking them!), as does Janice at Centreshot. He certainly does something right to have such a wide international audience.

Wayne's strings are always first class and very well made. He's a nice guy to deal with as well, always prepared to go the extra mile to get you the right string and cables for your setup

Nope. The prices quoted on his website includede postage to the UK, albeit he is aiming at the US market, I suppose. All came airmail.

Even allowing for the cost of airmail, his product is extremely well priced. You'd struggle to find better or cheaper IMO.
