Just seen this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...1500066 75933

I know it's electronic and all, but like wow, it can be done. The odd thing is I have a bid on my compound, and the scope is the single item the bidder has won. Makes me wonder about his intensions?

No that isn't what I had in mind although I dare say it wiould work up to a point.

My need was for a mount that could be affixed to the riser with the scope held in close to the riser as well, hence the need for a long eye relief telescopic sight.

I have spent a couple of weeks working on this problem and making one would be pretty near impossible with the machinery I have at home. The great problem is that because of parallax in the scope itself, if it going to be used for a variety of ranges it needs to be mounted on a very precisely made actuating arc and getting that perfectly correct for a particular person is extremely difficult as the scope needs to be kept aligned perfectly with your eye for each range, otherwise you get range errors as well as parallax.

So my feelings are that for me, anyway, it can't be done. Maybe an optical instrument maker could custoom make one but in such a case the price would be exorbitant so I fear it is another of those ideas which would be great if..........., SIGH!

Never mind, I'll live without it. Thanks for your interest.
