| I have the new version and Frankly the old one is better, it was more complex to use but gave better results and more options, the new one makes too many guesses and doesent allow you to override certain parameters. Enter as much info as you can and you will be rewarded with better marks and a better tape but the program acannot give you marks without you shooting the arrows. If you get real world data and then enter the shaft selector it can give you a comparable speed for othger shafts purely based on weight after it has seen real figures for your bow's efficiancy but this is only a speed and will not give you marks and it is only approxiamate. You will always need to enter either a mark and a speed or 2 marks to get a decent tape, the old version allowed you to enter 5 marks and was a lot more accurate as it could get a better average and discount erroneous marks/distances. The new version is more a program for "everyman" and to me the only advantage is you can change colours on the printout?????? |

The sight tapes look good, but would be better if they could show metres predominantly but yards too as I shoot field as well as target. So I think I'll be better with a printed table of marks, but every metre or yard from 2 to 150 is ridiculous. I guess I'll just have to cut and paste into word or excel and tidy up the lists. Alternatively a tape in metres and a conversion chart for yards and feet to metres. |

| Do a tape in metres and one in yards and put them on opposite sides of the sight track. |

You only need 2 sight marks of same calculation ie yards or metres. It will then print off all youre markings for metres and yards. Don't know if you knew that, I didn't. I normally shoot 10/20 metres and then 90m and find it very acurate. I print the marks off small and laminate the yards and metres back to back. If you use differant arrows you have to profile the bow and arrow combo for each and then get sight marks. So I have three lots for my 3 sets of arrows. The more data you can put in then the more acurate the results. Tends to underspine arrows a bit so look to get the combo to the right, i.e stiff side of good, and if youre thinking of Triples you'd be better off PM Greydog for info as it says mine are weak but they fly great. If you have access to a chrono and good bow scales that helps too. Next you'll be onto Targetplot ![]() |

![]() And a damn good release aid! Though not quite so hair trigger as when I got it ![]() I've got some lightspeed 400s which are far too stiff, but seem to shoot fine on the field course up to 60M. I'm going to see if I can stick with these at least till we stop changing peak weight, draw length etc. Hopefully I can find a way to shoot them 90M, even if they do blow all over the place. Then I'll decide what to get: probably navigators, but triples are a possibility. |

| [quote=MikeD] Is it possible to customise the Sight Marks printout? from 2 Metres to 150 Metres in 1 metre increments is a bit silly... Mike if you go to customize tape layout you can set it to what ever you want.Well within reason.
