True, he does have room to come back a bit with those fletchings, but I suspect there's more to shooting 1400+ than fletching location. This pic shows his arrows pretty well.......*edit* just realised, looks like he crops quite a bit off the back of those X10's ?

Yes, now that you've mentioned it (the X-10s)!!! And it looks like it's more than quite a bit, considering that 1/8" off the back is what some archers experiment with.

Have you noticed how he anchors with the string on the left side of his nose? I'm guessing that he's left-eye dominant shooting right handed. Perhaps that's his 'secret' to 1400+s.
