| Hoyt Pro Elite Never shot compound but I quite fancy having a dabble. There is a Hoyt Pro Elite for sale at my club at a very good price, anyone shoot one of these? Pros and cons? Comments much appreciated.

| The Hoyt bows are well built the Pro range are the best bows they make Do you know how old the bow is wheather or not it is Cam and 1/2 they are good if you are new to compound as you can vary draw length on the cam by means of two allen screws. Do not forget you may also need quite a bit of kit to go with the bow Release aid, sight arrow rest arrows etc which can cost a fair bit unless it is been sold as a set.

| The Elite bows are their best. The ProElite is OK, but the UltraElite is better. Use the 2000 limbs and Spirals on it and it will rock.

| Thanks for the replies guys.The bow is less than two years old with light use. There is a Copper John sight, a rest, a set of XX75s and a bag included for less than £500. I can use my beiter rod and I have a finger release passed down from my son. Think I might go for it

| If you know the seller and the history of the bow that is a fair price, I paid about that for my setup, your bow is a bit better I think. WRT to the beiter you may find using just one of the twins on the opposite side to the Sight will help balance the bow in the hand.
