New Bow

I wonder if anyone could recommend a good Compound bow for my early teenage son. He has A PSE Nova but has out grown it. A peak draw weight of between 30 – 40 lb with A good range of adjustment for draw length

The Hoyts tend to be easy to adjust draw length and will go under peak by up to 15 lb (5 Turns) a Banshee or RinTec if he is currently under 23" draw and Salina or RinTec XL if he is over, If you got a 40-50lb model I believe they should adjust down to 35lb but check with a shop about that first.

Hoyt

If you get a Salina or Rintec XL make sure the one that is ordered has its minimum draw length setting at the same length as it is now this will give you about 2.5" of adjustment if you order the bow with the same draw length as now you will only get half of this.

My daughter shoots a Salina and it will go up to 27.5" because we ordered it as a 26" bow and pulled it back to 25" to match the Rintec we had just sold.

Salina is better than the Rintec XL it has better limbs and is faster but a little more expensive
