Mathews Bows?

I have just bought second hand, a Mathews MQ1. It is in very good condition but will it be a good bow for accuracy?

I hate to say it, but any bow is only as accurate as the person drawing it... I'm an especially 'weak link' in the bow/arrow/archer system!

I believe Chris White pushed his own 720 world record up from 708 to 711 quite recently using a Mathews bow, so I'd doubt there's anything much wrong with the bows Mathews produce...

Toby said it.

A guy I shot with back in Australia was shooting a 12-year-old PSE and managed several 1350+ FITA's with it. Where others wouldn't go near it, he was perfectly happy to go out and outshoot their £700+ bows with his £50 bow...

I was there and I believe his comment coming of the shooting line was something like 'the Switchback, always the Switchback' ... Methinks he likes his Switchback

Shame it got run over by a baggage transporter on the way back from Sweden a couple of weeks ago. He had to use a spare bow at Lilleshall. A Mathews Prestige I think (from his collection)

He reckoned about £3-£5,000 worth of gear was recked, some of it had tyre marks on!
