Question New Hoyt Strings

Is it still now nescessary to recable & string brand new hoyt ultratech elites, as I am told it used be the case as the hoyts own out of the box were not much good .I saw in an earlier post that berry strings seemed to be highly rated.I have always made my own strings recurve & compound, compound recently with bcy 452x.I may get a hoyt in the near future hence the question.

As far as i know they are still fitted with "fuse" strings. Judging by the one i have on my other Ultratec they`re far from great, but they do the job. Mines had a years use and it`s still holding together. But if it was me buying a new bow i`d fit new strings from the outset.

They sure are.
I fitted all cables and string and was absolutely amazed at the results
ATA was bang on BH /Tiller/CAm Sync and timing were the same.Back wall was rock steady,Peep never moved. To be honest the best strings money can buy ,Maybe we should keep it for ourselves.

Bucknasty does do good strings! Good workmanship and cheap, where else can you get top notch strings/cables for £30 delivered?

Alex.

Thanks fellas, I knew you would come up trumps, when I phoned Wales archery for some new cables & strings for my Bowtech I was quoted £60 ,I think they are having a laugh ,so I made them myself with 450x .But £30 I would have gone for it .
thanks again oldy
