| Unlimited or limited????????? Ok so am assuming you mean Unlimited Compound as opposed to Limited Compound. Not many people have compared peep and non peep shooting on the same bow, with the same anchor point,Moose. I have. I set up a peep site on one of my Oneids' for an under the chin anchor, at 20 yds for the door season. When I shifted to 30 meters the sight pin dropped out of the bottom of the peep. This proves that the anchor was solid vertically. Add to that a good string picture using a recurve technique and the peep sight is not that much of an advantage. The release aid how ever is a huge advantage, a mechanically consistant loose that it is so clean that it all but does away with the paradox of the arrow must be the greatest advantage of the UNLIMITED compound. |

| The release aid would be the bigger impact. The peep is quite easy to work around by using the same stability techniques you use with recurve, but learning to release is much much more difficult.

| Simple - the let-off and the mechanical release. The let-off means you are not straining and the release means the arrow is released in something much closer to a straight line. |

| Thats easy, its the person behind it that makes it easy to shoot?? Seeems logic to me. |

| Judging by the World Cup finals yesterday I have to agree.

| We all know that 99% of problems occur behind the nocking point so shall we assume that the person shooting the compound can also shoot a recurve? |

| nope........ |

| have to agree with thge nope.... recently a friend who shall remain nameless (for shame) asked to swap his compound with my helix for a few ends it was a tec something or other. i quickly agreed to said arangement as the dark side had been calling for some time.. after a few ends of getting used to his bow i was smacking them in there,( we are about the same height build etc..) he on the other hand was having an awfull time of it, words like could not, broadside and barn come to mind. did i like the compund????? oh yes i sure did.. did helike the helix??? ehhh NOPE. am i still seduced by the call of the dark side???
