ultra elite 05 v's 06 v's 07

Does anyone know if there is any major difference between 05, 06, and 07 models and if so would it advisable to wait and pay more. I have just reserved to try an 05 ultra elite which is being sold for £575 is this a good price? any input would be appreciated

If it's a new bow, yes. For a used one, it'd be a bit steep.

I believe there are no changes in geometry between the 05/06/07 bows. Differences are largely cosmetic - removal of the side plates on the grip, addition of riser shoxs, etc. The only major change is that the spiral cams have vanished for 07. The C2 looks to be a near-identical replacement.

These are great bows, especially with spiral/C2 cams.

It's gunna be a bit of a culture shock trying it because I’ve not long got back into archery after a 10 year gap and I’m still shooting with my hoyt superslam which I got 12 years ago!!

I prefer the spirals, but you can't really go wrong with that combo. Great bow, good limbs and cams... What more could you want?
