| Outdoor arrows went up by 10 grains. 90 to 100 graisns. they perform better in crosswinds at distance. The indoor arrows went from 80 to 100 grains. Not much difference. Then to 160 grain points. The arrows almost tune to the bow. But they hit where they are aimed and the whole shooting process feels better. The sight marks suffer, but thats ok indoors. I now have a few broken Fatboy shafts and many broken Beiter nocks.I will stick with this weight as my best end is 4 arrows in the x ring and 2 9's, whilst setting up my new Copperjohn sight tonight. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Like alot of things, it'll depend on your skill level. Outdoors is more critical, as you said, I'd say at 90M you will notice if you have 5 arrows the same weight and 1 that's as little as 1-3 grains lighter. Indoors, you can probably get away with up to 5 grains difference, depending on the arrow. I haven't tried comparing closely weighted arrows indoors, so you might be able to get away with even more. |

| I went up to 180 grains indoors on the plats, made a terrific differance. bow shoots a lot better. Plus at the same time whent on to 5 inch fletches this also helped.

| I was after the weight difference or Variance between Piles/Built arrows, the max recommended difference before an arrow shoots differently sorry I guess I did not word it too well. Thanks Greydog looks like you got what I was after. I wont worry about Fractions of a grain indoor, If there is any difference on my outdoor arrows I will have to look at tweaking them a little.
