| I agree with Marcus26. I bought a complete setup with long and side rods, whilst at the Atlantic City shoot in the US a few years ago. I had never seen anything like it before so I thought I'd give it a try. I sold it 2 weeks later.

| Angled the long rod down a few degrees when I was shooting clout. It gets the longrod out of the sight window and allows a sight to be used in the window if the bow is fast enough. It lowered the centre of gravity a little and put the long rod parallel to my draw force line. With the angle, any canting of the bow resulted in a larger than normal force being created that would tend to return the bow to vertical. Having a clear sight window was a real plus. ![]() |

| I thought the theory was to keep the bow more vertical as any lean would imeadiately be corrected by the weight of the longrod
