Rik I am going to give it a try. I have been on to the Oneida web site had found out on the forum there that it is a trick that has been known about for a while. You can apparently fit draw lenght modules that are very long and shot the shoot the bow with very little to no letoff at all making it a contast peak weight bow like the Genisis starter bow. Apparently this sort of set is popular with bowfishermen. I won't be going that far but it could reduce the letoff a bit which could be an advantage for me. I think I am going to try the next draw lenght modules up and see what happens.I can't twist the buss cables on an oneida all the cables are stainless steel.
I heard about an Italian archer who did something like that - no let-off, holding the peak weight and shooting with a clicker. A bit like a wheelie recurve...
