I foucs on the scope aimiing mark and the target remains blurred. I find I shoot well like this. If I take my glasses off, the target is relatively sharp and my scope aiming mark is really blurred. I don't shoot well like this!

I use a Sure Loc with a Toxonics scope and 2x lens. The target is perfectly clear when looking through the scope (I wear glasses) but as soon as I put the peep to my eye it becomes blurred. I had thought of trying a compensator lens in the peep but before going to the expense wondered if the size of the peep is causing the problem. Or could it be I need a higher magnification on the scope lens?

Any advice would be appreciated. In the meantime I thought I'd go back to my Arten Olympic recurve sight with just the pin-ring.

Roger

hi i shoot in focus, i wear soft contacts using a clarifier lens green 1/16 along with a sureloc black eagle this works well but have recently purchased a lens from aardvark for my beiter scope 39mm without the hole, lez has had these made so when you shoot with a ring only the hole does not distract you. this is as good if not better than the black eagle at a fraction of the cost .
the reason for shooting with the ring only is that the dot gets smaller with the clarifiers and i found this a pain so just done without it .
