| Not 100% sure about the target master cams but I would stay on the cautious side and call them Hard, without knowing his draw length it is impossible to say, you probably want to leave some length in them so they grow with him, at a guess you are looking at a spine in the 500-600 region, if you are not sure call Merlin they are really helpfull or PM Ben (Merlin Archery) Via The Forum. As well as ACC take a look at the Easton AXIS FMJ, cheaper than the ACC and excellent Value for money.

| if i can remember correctly the target masters had energy wheels and round wheels, if your arrow length is about 28" something like easton redlines 780s might suffice thats if you want carbons, not a bad shaft and not to expensive. next time you check out the easton arrow selection charts with your drawlength ,check recomendations for round or soft cams, however this will change if you decide to crank up the poundage. |

| Download the Easton 2006 shaft selector program from the easton Archery web sight. Run it and select Target. you will see that Easton rate cams by their speed an AMO rating. Wheels are soft cams.

| The Picture on the Merlin Shop Site shows Cams on the TM5 not much in the way of Specs on there. http://www.merlinarcherycentre.co.uk...erlin_TM5.html I would Give Merlin a Call.

| That's some more lost! Thanks Stu. Stu having perused the tables and watched him shoot that's my ACC's (27.5x3L-04) gone to Chris as well! Never mind I suppose I did borrow them from the "Missus" at a comp last year and not give them back, really wanted some a little stiffer anyway ![]() |

| Hi, Cams on the TM5 are more like a medium cam. If you are stuck between two arrow spines, go with the stiffer one. It's easier to tune a stiff arrow in than a weak one. |
