| I saw the vid on their website, not really impressed either. plus you have to use inserts and chances are your points would magnetise themselves to it as well.

| You get frictionless support and no contact problems if set up properly. No moving parts; virtually indestructible. Seems to be all you could ever want! Imagine using it though! Loading the arrow through the hole. I'm not sure I could live with that every shot. Unless it was very much better at the target end, and the way I shoot I wouldn't tell the difference. I am interested in innovation but that wouldn't get me to change. |

| and because it is frictionless, you won't get the scrape of alloy arrow over steel rest as the bow is drawn. it may not be attractive, but at least it's not one of the whisper biscuit rests (looks like you have a mushroom mounted on the side of the bow). T.

| Not sure about that Tarkwin. As the arrow is drawn, initially, it rubs on the rest until it gets the piles to the magnets then it gets airborn. The whisker biscuit does at least hold the arrow in place while you hunt around, in the dark possibly, looking for an animal or waiting for one to come close. |

Sorry, this is another gimmick for the over bloated US hunting market. Like Magnocks and Limbsavers.

| Good idea in principle but like Marcus said, in the wind i would imagine it'd be a nightmare to get any sort of consistency. I'll stick with my Trophy Taker...

| If you talk to someone who uses one you might get told a few facts. They "do not move in the wind" that is nonsense. I read one comment that as you pull the arrow back it rubs on the rest. I would think that happens on about any rest made, except a couple that I wont bother to name. Marcus mentions Magnocks, whats wrong with them? I have shot them before they were available over here with no problem at all. How can you have a problem with clean arrow release from the string every time with no serving wear? We still attach arrows on the string the same way it has been done for thousands of years. If people treated cars the same way as archery equipment we would still drive Model T Fords. I have tried Turbo nocks (not available over here). They are great but not for target archery as they are not very durable and the hard vanes get damaged. I will try anything once, but I never knock things until I do. By the way with regard to the "over bloated hunting market". Where did the compound come from?? Nightimer |
