Beiter nock for Axis FMJ
I don't know if anyone else has posted this - couldn't find it anyway - but I've just discovered that Beiter 5.15 nocks for Carbon Express Medallion 450s fit Axis FMJ 400's reasonably well, with a bit of Teflon tape.

I don't have any shafts to try, but they might fit 340's and 500's as well, as there is not a lot of difference in their diameters.

Not perfect, but it depends how much you dislike X-Nocks.

Anyone know if Beiter are going to make the proper size?

pwiles1968 has completed all 6 rounds of either the Archery Interchange VGP or Winter League pwiles1968 has taken part in the Archery Interchange Ironman Challenge shoot

Marcus is using the Beiter 5,19/2 and seems to like them, so Far I have stuck with the supplied Hunter 'X' knock.

I'm happier with the x-nocks now I've re-served my string with 0.019 rather than the 0.021 (diamondback) they were eating their way through......

I've used asymmetric Beiters on a compound before now whenI couldn't get hunters and they work OK, but I'd be interested in knowing how well the 5,19 nocks fit the Axis FMJ 500 shaft... I believe Marcus uses 400s?

Not too impressed with the beiter nocks. tried them as they came and if I nocked them on the string the push on fit was fine but they allowed the arrows to slip up and down the string far too easily. put a dental floss nock on nad I got the location on the string I wanted and the string was free enough to rotate but the push on was far too stiff. So I have had to size them. You would have thought that they woul get the size of the slot in the nock the correct relationship the actual hole in the nock so that you could just fit and use them.

I'm over the moon with my Beiter 5,19/2 insert nocks on my Axis FMJ's. Got them last week and shot this week
Practise PB at 70m
Competition PB's at 90m and 70m
A 60 at 90m.



One of our staff shooters also put them in and shot competition PB's for 90m and full FITA (1355)

These are the nock to use.

Pink One, I'll try them in some 500's and let you know.
