I like the TT2 a lot and have one micro adjust, and one standard. I found no real benefit to the micro adjust model, which I bought first, so I got the standard model for my other bow. The standard model slides very easily and smoothly and keeps the whole thing simple. Hope this helps. |

| I shoot with the standard rest and find it to be pretty much bullet proof. The rest is marked out with clear graduations in both plains, so unless your eyes are a bit off you will still see any movements made and maintain a solid reference/starting point. Merlin will be making one of their own down the same lines fairly soon. It might be worth you hanging on for a while to see what Ben comes up with. ![]() |

| The trophy taker 2 arm is at a much steeper angle than the trophy taker 1 arm and even those endorsing the product dont know why and prefer the tt1. The added price of either the micro adjust on either model or the two hole blade on the tt2 is difficult to justify as the tt1 is such a good rest |

| Another advantage of the TT1 is that it takes the wide blades for fat arrows as well as the usual narrow ones- the TT2 only has blades for narrow arrows. It's a great bombproof rest though IMHO. P.

| If you are using the tt2 (as I am) you may find it useful to mount it at about 10 degrees to give a shallower angle, you will find a lot of us pro archers such as dave cousins doing this.but fantastic simple rest. |

| I was worried about the steep angle and wide blades myself, but in practice I get perfect clearance (with the right blade) with all the arrows I shoot ie 2315 XX78's, 400 Axis FMJ's, 480 Navs and 470 ACE's. That's 450gn down to 290gn and max diameter down to extremely slim - a pretty wide range! Whether the TT1 would be better, I don't know, as I haven't used one, but its hard to see how (I'll be speaking to you about a loan soon Alistair!). |

| Why anyone would buy a TT2 I cant imagine, Buy the TT1 Micro Adjust, its a No-Brainer for all the above reasons. |

The locking screws and blade screws are all huge with big allen heads to them, they are all the same size as well meaning you only need one allen key to adjust. It's rock solid and has the best blade angle. Just make sure you have the correct thickness blade fitted, I've got a blade for each set of arrows. You'll need a set of grain scales when choosing. |

| No really advantages with the TT2 or the micro adjust. All of the TT series are the same "set it and forget it". In this case absolutely right the "Simple is better...". The TT1 has a better clearance (you can do the same with a slightly angle mounted TT2) |
