| Janice French of Centreshot (a GMB compound shooter) has a very short draw as well, so she may well be able to advise you. Granted, she shoots Martin - not one of your listed preferences - but she does very well with their bows. |

| Martin do some excellent bows with short draw lengths. Definitly worth speaking to Centreshot. |

| i have a hoyt sapphire, set to 23.5", and i think hoyt still do very short drawlength compounds, i think they are more common than you think!! (she says with fingers and toes crossed)

| Bowtech Equaliser will go down to 24" and is designed for short draw archers, and if you are still growing the DL can be lengthened in future by use of modules.

| [quote=sarahjrd;114371]I have been shooting with a Sierratec which was bought for my sister since September now. My self and my coach have always known that the drawlenght was too long, but i was able to deal with that. But now i am getting alot more serious about shooting compound, so much so that i have decieded to sell my beloved Matrix and G3s in order to finance a new compound . The trouble is I have a very short draw lenght. I am currently shooting the sieratec set to its shortest (25'') and have also shortened the string and cables . This only added up to an additional quater of an inch. Hi if you lengthen the cables you could get a shorter draw, but it will alter the way the cams react if you go to far. I would try a bowtec equaliser, nice hard wall, short bow, and some of the Hoyts. |

| I have seen merlin compounds with a 22" draw. Custom build, but not more expensive.

| Have to agree with the bowtech equalizer. My wife tried one out in custom built, it was a beautiful piece of kit. Just waiting for them to come in in this seasons colours Smoke flame or ghost flame seamed ring a bell. Fully adjustable draw length, also has way more adjustment on the draw weight than stated too so you could get a heavier poundage bow, wind it right down for starters then creep up over time. I have a pretty short draw for a gent (27") and find even with the bow up at 60lbs I have difficulty with sensible sight marks at long distances, how does anyone here fair? I appreciate nock to peep distances play a major role but this is something that can't be adjusted easily as it's dictated by the size of my face! (Am expecting many jokes and puns to ensue) |
