pse limb memory

A knowledgable friend has suggested that the limbs used on the PSE bows have a memory, and that over a period of time they lose power ?
does anyone on the forum have any views on this ?

I would guess that it is true of all limbs, recurve or compound. Compounds are kept strung, so over the years they will stay bent more than when originally shaped. But as they are so stiff anyway, the loss of power would, I suspect , be very slight. A little twist on the limb bolts would correct it.

I may be wrong, but I think PSE, Matthews and Bowtech all use the same limb material and the same manufacturer, so if it is a problem it's unlikely to be PSE-specific.

I suspect maybe was truer of older glass/wood lams but I suspect less of an issue with modern materials.

JMO though.
