So what scope do you use?

I use a Titan Scope made by world field silver medalist Leigh Cornish. I'm a huge fan of these because
they are lightweight
they are very very strong
they are easy to change the lenses on
the lens is a high quality Hoya coated len, but does not cost the earth
the support is second to none.

what do you use and why?

Beiter with K series centre-drilled lenses. Pretty happy with mine. Little sun-hat for those bright sunny days.

I like the quality of the lenses, and the don't cost an arm and a leg like the Swarovski ones.

Cartel 207 scope, because it's all I could afford at the time. Does the job but doesn't have any lens coating.

I use a 29mm Beiter scope. good quality lens (zeiss) at a reasonable price. Plus plenty of accessories available to customise it to your own specs.

I'm currently experimenting with a True Spot target scope with a true spot 8x lens.

I found it difficult to use until I added a stick on orange ring around the center magnified portion. I was using it with a clarifier which worked fine at 50yds & 60yds but became difficult to use at 80 & 100yds. I have removed the clarifier and increased the peep size and am just waiting to try it out again.

My normal scope is a Beiter 39mm

Beiter 39 with 0.75 lense. Had an absolutely dire cheap scope when I first started shooting the compound took some advice off other archers and opted for the Beiter over the Sureloc. Basically coz it's a pretty good scope doesn't cost the earth and was what I bought at the time.

True Spot 3/16" x 6. Not to everybody's taste, but for me bloody fantastic......

BTW, for me a clarifier was a disaster, indoors and out - but like everything to do with eyesight, its very personal.

Pleased to hear your having success with it, I'm hoping to get out today and try it without the clarifier. I must admit that the clarifier only seemed to work well with the Beiter with 8x magnification indoors.
